We thank you Lord God for those who are willing to stand in defense of our country and the values expressed in our Constitution. May we celebrate this day our veterans who made the promise to sacrifice themselves if called upon in order to protect our country. May we also live into the call of justice and the responsibilities of what it is to be a citizen of our country. Let us honor those who have served our country and pray those who are currently serving. May your blessing be upon all of us this day and everyday. Amen
