Sorry for the late post. My day got away from me.
Thank you God for getting us to the end of another work week. Like most of them, they were filled with good and challenging events. Allow us to release all of the stresses that any week provides and take the respite that we may be given this weekend. Let us enjoy time with those we love, allow us to be free to do the activities that bring us joy without being distracted by what may lay ahead of us this next week and live fully into the Sabbath to which you recommend. May those of us who find ourselves in worship during the weekend have our batteries for ministry recharged so that we can do the daily ministry to which you call us. Amen
