Prayer for December 3, 2021

It is at this time when we find ourselves in a strange time O God. For many of us, we seem so overwhelmed by what we hope to accomplish in the time we have before Christmas or the end of the year, others (especially children) feel as if those days will never come. Help us to live this time in the moment, may we not worry or stress about what is to come and instead be grateful for where we are right now. Let us be fully present to those to whom we are with and help them to know that we love them fully, showing the love you gave us. May we live in this liminal space knowing that we are all living in a transition of some kind. Amen.
