Prayer for December 6, 2021

May we be present Loving God to those who are struggling during this season. For many this time of year brings back memories of loss and pain. Give us the awareness of the times when we can help make this season less painful for those who struggle. Help those whom we love know that we are more than present for them. Let those for whom this season does not have the same expectation of joy and wonder, but instead memories of pain and discomfort find peace and a chance to find a way make this season one that is filled with memories of the blessings of this life. Give them the peace that is beyond understanding. Amen
