Today is the Army-Navy Game. It is a time where two of the armed forces of our country gather to compete as adversaries. All other times they are brothers and sisters in arms standing up to defend our Country and its values. That said Go Army, Beat Navy.
O Lord our God, be with those who serve our country. Protect them when they put themselves in harms way. Help the leaders of the world to work toward peace so that we do not have to send our young men and women to dangerous places. We thank them for their service and commitment to protecting those things that we hold dear. May we honor those who have served and those who are serving now by working to spread the peace and love to which you call us O God. Bless, protect and guide us now and always. Amen
