Prayer for December 19, 2021

O God, we hear about Mary and Elizabeth today in our readings, and I think back on what it felt like to hear the heartbeats of my twins, and that moment where we knew we were having twins. Thank you for the gift that they are and the atonement of the loss of my twin. Help me to celebrate the joy that our girls have been for us from that day. Let us be for them who they need. Allow us to be the support they need and comfortable enough to let them fly, dreaming their own dreams. May we sing our own Marion song celebrating all the gifts you have given us Loving God. Amen
