Prayer for December 21, 2021

For many people this time of year is hard, Loving God. It is a season that is filled with memories of loss and not the hope, joy, wonder and love that others feel. Many have lost loved ones during this season, and struggle to deal with the desire to celebrate this season while honoring the people they love but see no longer. May those who are still mourning be given the the love and support they need. Help them to celebrate the gift that the people they miss were to them more than they mourn their loss. Let them live knowing that they are far better people having had them in their lives and may they look toward the time when they will be beside them at your heavenly banquet table. Let us feel your blessings this and everyday. Amen
