Prayer for February 22, 2022

Compassionate and Healing God, thank you for the life and ministry of Dr Paul Farmer, who saw the preventable illnesses and medical needs of the people of Haiti, and began what would become a worldwide ministry Partners in Health. Help us to value the basic needs of the poorest among us. Helping provide clean water, access to medical care, and opportunities to receive and education is the minimum of what we should expect for everyone. Give us the wherewithal to continue his ministry. He truly lived into the words from John 14, “Greater work than these, you will do.” May we also work toward that end. May the blessings of God Almighty be upon us now and always. Amen
