Second Prayer for February 24, 2022

Protect O God the people of who are victims of the violence of war. May those who would make war have their hearts changed. Give the people who desire peace the voice and political power to move the world to peace. May your love overcome the hate that wins some battles but never the war. May those who are victims find places of safety and refuge. May those who seek power for power’s sake be limited in their ability to hurt others. Help us to seek to love our neighbor as you would have us, and make this world a better place. Amen
