Prayer for February 25, 2022

As a people conditioned to respect and honor love, O God, we struggle when we are faced with the evil of people who have no morals because we cannot imagine someone doing things that are so immoral. Give us the strength of character to speak to the evil that exists in the world. Help us to recognize that evil actions in an attempt to be powerful never are what God would have us do in bringing about the world that God intends. May those who would use those acts to attempt to describe them as “God’s will” be exposed to be the frauds they are. Help us to treat those we struggle with as beloved children of God is the path your would have us follow. Let us stand up to the real evil of this world with clarity. May your spirit guide us this and every day. Amen
