Prayer for February 25, 2022

As we watch the atrocities in some regions of the world, help us to stand firm for peace. May we recognize that we will make sacrifices when we stand up to injustice. Give us the strength of character to speak out against, despots, war, terrorism, poverty and for those things that will build people up and protect them. When we don’t respond to the evil in the world and allow it to grow we become complicit in that evil. Help us this and everyday to have the power to fully love our neighbor and share that love through our actions and voice. All this we ask in the Name of a God who would give up his life for us. Amen
