Prayer for February 27, 2022

On this Sabbath Day, may we find the refreshment we need. Allow us to step back and rest. May we not do the work that is really for tomorrow, and fully be present to our own needs. Let us relish in the chance to worship with others so that we can know we are not alone in the journey you have set before us. Give us an awareness of your presence in all that we do today. May we feel it in such a way that all our actions mirror who you are calling us to become. Help us to be fully present to those we meet today for we may be entertaining angels. Thank you, God, for giving us sabbath, may we use it well. Amen
