Prayer for February 28, 2022

Over the past couple years, O God, we have felt threatened by things beyond our control. Today we find ourselves in an even more precarious place. We have a man who holds the world hostage, and has the weapons to make everyone scared. We still face all the challenges that the pandemic has to offer and we are all anxious. May the evil that is in the world be tamed. Protect the people who are fighting for freedom wherever tyranny exists. Let your love overcome the hatred that seems to be more virulent today than anytime in our memory. Help us move away from this time of fear to a place of peace, All this we ask in the name of the God of Peace. Amen
