Help us to know your presence among us today, O God. Let us be open to you in the world around us and respond to those in need. May we be willing to give of ourselves when we are the best equipped person to act in love for our neighbor. If we are in need of aid or help, may we be accepting of others who are attempting to be there for us. Let us be willing to share the burdens we are carrying and bear the burdens of others if we are called. Let us find the community we all need in this broken and lonely world. Amen.
