Prayer for March 27, 2022

There are times, Forgiving God, that we are all prodigal. We are lost in our desire to have everything now. We are selfish and desire what we deem we are owed. Help us to seek forgiveness in those times before we fall into the abyss that is governed by our selfish desires and invite us back to the path that leads to love and service to others. May we use all the gifts that we have been given as opportunities to care for those around us. May your forgiveness for the times when we falter fill us with new strength to meet the challenges that are ahead. All this we ask in the name of the God who would lay down his life for us. Amen
