Prayer for May 10, 2022

There are times, O God, when we are called to wait. Help us during those times to be patient and to find ways to experience the world around us. May we see it as an opportunity to spend time on things that we have not paid attention to previously, or to simply read that book we have been putting off. Water it is waiting for a delivery, or in a doctors office, we rarely get time when other things aren’t vying for our attention. Help us to take that time as a gift rather than a frustration. All this we ask in your name. Amen
