Prayer for May 9, 2022

May we begin this new week with anticipation of the possibilities it provides, Loving God. Let us treat every moment with every person we encounter as a gift. Allow us to see your spirit in them, O God, and learn from them as we journey together. When we are challenged, as we probably will be, help us to take the time to see those times for what they are rather than how we initially interpret them. Almost nothing we do is so imminent that we cannot take a short break to see it from a different position. Help us to solve the problems that exist in a loving and compassionate way. All this we ask in your name. Amen
