Prayer for May 24, 2022

May we feel your spirit guide us through this and every day, O God. It is easy for us to be distracted and tempted by what the world might deem important. Help us to discern what is true and just when we are faced with tough decisions. May we know when what seems like the easy path is actually filled with pitfalls and stumbling blocks and that the apparently harder course is actually the better way to go. Let us face temptations with a clarity that allows us to see what we are called to follow. May we be open to you this and every day. Amen.
