Be with those who are struggling with chronic illness, O God. The challenges they face can be overwhelming, whether it is from the illness itself or the side effects of the treatment, the challenges they face can be overwhelming. Help them to know that they are not alone, and to find others who know their pain. May your healing power fall upon them in whatever way you can provide. Allow those who love them the ability to help them through the tough times and to know when to simply walk along with them. May they know when to ask for help and not be afraid to make that request. All this we ask in your name, O God who heals and makes whole. Amen.
