Prayer for June 7, 2022

Thank you God for giving us our senses. There is something wonderful about the scents of a day. The smell of coffee being brewed to begin our day to the incredible aroma of certain restaurants as we attempt to decide on lunch, followed by the smell of rolls being baked for dinner, we are incredibly blessed. That allows us to follow that with the gift of tastings all those things we imagined by their scent. As we wake we see the dawn of a new day and all the glorious creation you provide us between then and sunset. If we are lucky enough the touch of someone we love makes us have that sense of unconditional love you have for us. The songs that this day will sing have the chance to make us hear a symphony that even the greatest composers cannot match. You have created us to experience so much and we only need to be open to the incredible day you have prepared for us. May we live into who we can be this and every day. Amen
