Prayer for June 23, 2022

Thank you O God for the gift of the ministry to which I have been called. Twenty-one years ago today, I became a priest. It has been such and incredible adventure and I am grateful for all the mentors you have placed in my path to guide me when I needed it most. I have been blessed to be with people in their best and worst moments and literally been at the beginning and ending of lives seeing your presence and feeling your spirit in those times. May I continue to be who you would have me be as I continue a ministry that is still filled with new and exciting things. Help me to honor the many gifts you have given me by expressing your love to those I encounter. May your blessings be upon all who my ministry touches this and everyday. Amen.
