Prayer for August 16, 2022

Creator God, thank you for making us people who want to make new things. You gave us the desire to build new and better things and made us inquisitive. May we continue to have the desire to make things better, and celebrate those who do the hard work of creating. Help us to honor the people who are called to trades that make our lives better that we often take for granted. May those who are called to those tough trades know our appreciation of all that they do to make this world a better place. May we celebrate the people who work so hard to make our lives better this and every day. Amen
