Prayer for September 2, 2022

Help us to be patient today, O God. We are often in so much of a rush to finish tasks, or get where we are going that we miss what is going on in the world around us. May we pace ourselves so that we can be fully present to all that this day has to offer. Help us to know that the others with whom we interact today may very well need our attention and love. When we find ourselves waiting and anxious, give us a sense of calm. May your peace that passses understanding keep our hearts and minds focused on the love you call us to share. Amen
