Prayer for September 7, 2022

So much of our live is spent in transit, O God. We move from one place to another whether driving, walking, running or any of the other myriad ways of transportation we have invented. Help us to see what is happening around us as we live this day. May we see things we have missed in our daily travels. As we take new routes help us to be aware of all that is going on around us and see the wonder of your creation and not be so focused on the destination that we miss the experiences the journey itself has to offer. May we live each day in the moment so that we find ourselves ready to do what you would have us do when opportunities come upon us. All this we ask in your name. Amen
