Prayer for September 18, 2022

May we be good stewards of the many gifts you have given us, O God. Help us to remember that many of our best gifts are more in how we love and care for others than the physical wealth we can give. May we look to ways to make peoples feel and understand what it is to be forgiven and redeemed. Let us be examples of radical welcoming to the strangers in our midst knowing that we have all felt like outsiders. Let us use the talents we have in service to others knowing that we receive so much more in return by the smiles and joy that come with that kind of giving. Bless us this and everyday. Amen
