Prayer for September 27, 2022

As literal and figurative storms surround us, may we a people of hope and action. Let us look to the needs of those around us, Loving God, and go out of our way to check on those we know to be struggling or alone. May our love shine through in all that we do. Help us to be grateful for the times when we are in safety and supportive of those who find themselves having to pick up after the myriad storms that happen in life. May we be the ones who lift people up when they stumble and care for them after disasters strike. May we be giving of ourselves fully in our love for our neighbors. All this we ask in your name. Amen
