Prayer for September 29, 2022

Over the years, O God, I have said many times that we are in the forgiveness business. That has called me to remind myself over and over again that I need to be willing to forgive myself for the guilt I have carried long after the forgiveness that you have already provided. Help all of us as we live our lives having asked for and received your redemption to know that not only have you forgiven us but that many of our actions that we have felt a need for that forgiveness have already been forgotten by those who love us. May we move on in our present lives knowing the breadth of redemption and feel the love that surpasses understanding and truly release any residual guilt we feel for the already forgiven actions of our lives. Amen
