Prayer for October 11, 2022

You called us to serve others, O God. Help us to look for ways to lift people up. May we welcome the stranger in our midst and treat them as family. Let us feed the hungry, care for the poor and heal those who are ill. Let us use the talents and wealth you have given us to be better stewards of the world around us. Give us the strength stand up for these ideals when we are challenged by a selfish world. All this we ask in your Name, O God. Amen
