Prayer for October 12, 2022

Thank you Loving God, for all the children you have placed in our lives. For many of us, we have been blessed with children who were born to us, and that gift is beyond measure. Watching them grow to become even more than we could have imagined is incredible. We thank you also for the those young people who have been a part of our lives for a season, or have been placed in our care. The time we spent with them helped form us as much as it did them. Help them to know the blessing they continue to be for us even if we never see them again. For all of them, may they know that they remain loved by us and remembered each and everyday. Comfort them when they struggle, lift them up if they fall and may they know your presence during the times when they most need it, O God. Amen.
