Prayer for October 20, 2022

May we find a way to limit the pressure we put upon ourselves, Loving God. Too often we are not willing to forgive the sins we have already asked for atonement because we want to carry that guilt a little longer, or we perceive that particular transgression as beyond what you, O God, would forgive. May we know what is to be completely free from the burdens we have been carrying when we place them at the foot of your altar. Let us be then fully ready to take on the load of what you are calling us to become. Help us to see the world with eyes clearly seeing your presence in the world and give us the guidance to find our place and personal ministry to follow you, O God. Amen
