Prayer for November 7, 2022

Thank you Jesus, for the people you have placed in our lives. We have been blessed by the long term friends that have been with us through thick and thin. There have been people who have shared our journey for a little while, yet have had incredible impact in our journey. May we be fully present to the people we are with today and give them the love and attention that they may need. Help us to be the angels they may need. May we show our appreciation of the love we have received by sharing that love with others. In the time we find ourselves and especially this week, love for the stranger in our midst needs to prevail over the incredible anger that seems to pervade our society, Help us O God to change the tide that seems to be overwhelming us. Amen.
