Prayer for December 4, 2022

Today, Redeeming God, we hear the John the Baptist call us to repentance reminding us that we need to admit our shortcomings in order to be truly cleansed from our sins. In order for us to be truly right before God we must be willing to ask for forgiveness and turn ourselves toward God. We may be fortunate to be born into the time in which we find ourselves and truly blessed by inheritance. We must by our own choice, live into our baptism and be transformed by the Holy Spirit to truly understand what it is to be redeemed and made whole. Help us to follow the path that has been set before us this and everyday. Amen
