Prayer for December 7, 2022

As we continue to live in a world with war, help us to work toward peace, O God of All Creation. May we seek a day when swords are turned into plowshares. During this season where we hear the words of Isaiah telling us of the hope that comes from what was thought destroyed and the coming of a new kind of kingdom may we seek to do our part in making that happen. Help us to choose love over hatred, compassion over selfishness, and charity over greed. May we use each day as an opportunity to make it better than the day before by how we seek to do good and share your love to one another. May your spirit guide us this and everyday. Amen
