Prayer for December 9, 2022

Today, O God of Love, we celebrate two very different events in the family of one of our parishioners. First, we will be celebrating the life of Carol Jon Hoffman who we will remember today at her internment. We will honor a life well lived. We will also celebrate the 100^th birthday of her mother Carol Hoffman. We are so fortunate to be with people at the seminal moments of the lives in our parishioners. Help us to be fully present with the Hoffman family and all of our community as we work to be the body of Christ in our church, community and the world. May we live each day knowing that we have an opportunity to change lives and to experience the lives of others and become more and more filled with your spirit through our time with others. All this we remember and honor each day. Amen.
