As we look back at this year on its final day, O God, there is so much for which to be grateful. The pandemic has slowed for most of the world, and much of our life has returned to some semblance of order. There were celebrations that we were unable to have for a couple years that we began again with newfound excitement and gatherings become more and more common. We still have much that we hope will improve in the new year. We pray for peace in many lands, especially in Ukraine, and hope that those who would seek violence would change their ways. The places where the pandemic is still strong like China, need your help, healing and love. May we as a world look for ways in which we can agree and build upon them and not give power those who seek to divide us. May we feel your continued presence this and everyday, Loving God, Amen,
