Prayer for January 1, 2023

As we begin this new year, Loving God, help us to treat each new day as a gift and opportunity. Let us be open to experiencing new things, meeting new people and learning more about all this world has to offer. May we treat those we encounter with the love and passion we desire in our own lives. Let us see the beauty surrounds us each and everyday. Allow us to take the time to be fully present in the moments we experience and be filled with a spirit that we can only encounter when we live in the present. May remembering the past and looking to the future be a part of who we are, but not take from the importance of now. May this and everyday be filled with love and grace. Amen
