May we sense your presence, O God of all Creation, as we start this new week, of a new year. Help us to be aware of the gifts each new day brings. May we experience the joy of hearing our friends share their holiday experiences. Let us be excited about the places they have been and grateful for what we have experienced during the holidays. May those who are still traveling return safely. We ask your loving presence to be with those for whom this holiday was challenging or painful. May those who are feeling alone find the love and friendships they have standing right in front of them to know they are not alone. May we live this and everyday sharing the love that you have for us, O God, to those we encounter. Amen
