Prayer for Jan 4, 2023

This day may be filled with unexpected events, or seem non-eventful, O God. We have no idea what lies ahead, may we be ready for whatever unfolds. Let us use each moment to its fullest and take the opportunity to love and serve those we encounter. May we be confident in your presence as we journey through the day, Loving God, and attempt to live in a way that honors you, O God of All Creation. Give us the patience we need when we become anxious or even angry and allow us to step back and see the problems before us from multiple angles and better address them when forced. Let your Spirit shine through all our actions this and everyday. Amen
