Prayer for January 16, 2023

As many spend this Labor Day enjoying a sabbath, or end of summer celebration, others are working. May we honor those who work while we rest, O God, and support those who work in fields that make our lives more comfortable and safe. Let us treat those who do the jobs that are often thankless, yet required with the gratefulness they deserve. Help us to be thankful for all the many gifts we have been given and be ready to support others in their journey. All this we ask in your Name, Loving God. Amen
