Prayer for February 6, 2023

We are never prepared to hear about the loss of someone we know, O God. Help the families of those who have died by having them feel your presence and our love. May it reinforce our commitment to contact those with whom we have lost contact. May we let the people who have meant something to us how important they have been for us. Let us recognize the importance that they have been and could be in our lives. May we let the families of those who we have lost know the impact their loved one has had in our lives. Help us to celebrate those we have lost by how we live our lives having been formed by our times with them. May your comforting presence guide us now and forever. Amen
