Prayer for February 8, 2023

It is mid-week, O God. Help us to stay focused on the tasks that we hope to complete this week and not begin to look to the weekend too soon. There are so many opportunities before us for the next few days. May we live each day fully and look with wonder at the beauty of your creation and the gift of the people we will encounter. May we see your spirit shining as we look into the eyes of those around us. Give us an awareness of the world around us and help us to act when our gifts are needed. May your love shine through our actions now and always. Amen
