Prayer for February 15, 2023

O God, who comforts us in our worst moments, there is a little girl who is waking up today for the first time without her mother who has died after a long illness. Be with her now and always as her life has been hard over the past few years and she has never known a day where her mother didn’t do everything to make her feel loved. Help her as she grows to continually feel her mothers presence. May she know that there are so many people who love and support her. Help her to mourn as she needs to and to celebrate the incredible love that her mom gave her while she could. May she know that love continues always. Help us to have the words and support she needs each and every day. Amen
