Prayer for March 23, 2023

May we be gallant when facing those things that are beyond our control, O God. So often we let our frustration and anxiety be how we respond to challenges. Help us to release those things that we cannot carry alone or cannot effect the outcome and focus instead on the things we can influence. Let love be the defining quality of our actions now and always. Let us rise up and work hard for those in need, those who are hungry and those who are lonely and show our love for one another in our actions. May we ask for help when we need it and respond to others requests to the best of our abilities. Let each day be marked by our compassion and empathy for those we encounter and may your Spirit guide us now and always. Amen.
