Prayer fro March 28, 2023

Healing and Comforting God, we are all praying once again for the victims of a school shooting. May your healing presence be upon those who are injured. Equip those who are having to counsel these young children and their families whose lives are damaged forever by gun violence. May those who are in a position to change how we protect one another and especially our children finally do something. May we make the hard changes to how people have access to weapons and find ways to heal those so broken as to think that violence with a weapons is their only answer. Help those in power to make real substantive changes in how we prevent these events from happening so often. May our love for one another help us change. All this we ask in the name of the God who loved us so much that He laid down his life that we might live. Amen.
