Thank you God for the pastors who you have placed in our lives. For the ones who welcomed us into new places, the ones who covered for us when we were unable to be present for our parishioners, and most importantly were pastoral to us in our own struggles. May we who are pastors be the support network to others who live what can be a very lonely time of pastoring to people we love very deeply. Help us who have been supported by so great a cloud of witnesses to let them know how much their support an love meant to us in times of challenge that were not apparent to those ministering to us. Bless and equip us each and every day. Amen
