Prayer for April 18, 2026

Loving God, you made yourself known to us in the breaking of the bread.  May we be ready to notice your presence in the world around us.  Inspire us to step out in faith to share the love of others to which we are called.  Let us be the shelter in the storm for those who are in need, unwelcomed, poor and widowed.  Help us to know when it our time to witness to others by our presence to those we encounter, and that we may find ourselves entertaining angels.  All this we ask in your most Holy Name.  Amen
