Prayer for April 19, 2026

I love watching the beginning the day, O God of all Creation, as it moves from darkness to light.  The sounds and colors change from stillness to bustling.  Help us in our own transitions from calm to the rigors of the day to live in that in between time, if only for a moment, cherishing the calm and preparing for day ahead.  May we make this day full of joy, wonder and love.  Let us laugh with those we love and celebrate the time we have before us.  Give us an awareness of the beauty that surrounds, and the patience to see things that require us to slow down enough to see it.  All this we ask in the the name of the God who creates, redeems and sanctifies.  Amen
