Prayer for May 2, 20265

There are so many who have been affected by the current wars, O God. Help us to see the futility of our actions when combat becomes the primary direction.  May we look for other ways before those times happen and see them as truly a last resort.  Let us find ways to stop the current military actions that we are experiencing.  Give us the strength to stand up and tell those who have the power to stop these actions that we don’t support them.  Be with those who are currently in harms way and keep them safe from the dangers brought on by people who often are removed from the daily danger that others experience.  May your call for us to love our neighbor become the focus of our policies and actions.  Amen
