Prayer for May 11, 2026

I am remembering those of my friends with whom I served our country, O God, and thinking about how different our lives would have been if we were the young soldiers serving now.  We were serving between conflicts, and at a time where trust was being rebuilt int the mission of the military,  Help our country and those who can, help us find our path forward to remember the past that many now are forgetting or simply don’t care about for their selfish aims.  Let us get back to the place between the many conflicts we have had and find the wonder of peace.  Guide us and help us back to a bette place.  Amen
