Prayer for February 7, 2021

O God who calls us to be witnesses of your love.  Help us to recognize our own gifts in how we respond to that call.  May we use all that we have and all that we are as we live into the fullness of your love and express it in how we love those whom you put in our path.  May we see new ways in how we can testify more by our actions than our words.  Empower us to fight the temptations bravely that attempt to take us from the path to which we are called.  Give us the confidence of a sure and certain faith in you that when we falter we know that taking responsibility for our actions and seeking forgiveness will redirect us.  May we be quicker to forgive than to anger.  All this we ask in the name of a God who Forgives, Heals and Redeems.  Amen.
